Why work with Kruse Control?
I was born in the heart of Los Angeles to a family of “car people.” My passion for the car business spans a 25-year career managing successful dealerships in Southern California.
Kruse Control began as an operational consulting firm for clients I knew through my years in auto retail. While focusing on automotive social media the last few years, I’ve discovered that crucial systems and processes which incorporate the digital world are blatantly absent from today’s dealership operations.
Today’s automotive retail environment presents a unique opportunity to engage customers. But where digital channels are common, results are not.
To increase profitability today, retailers must think holistically about their business strategy.
Consumer behavior is driving radical retail change – we see it everywhere – and it’s crucial for dealers to adapt and transform. That can seem like a tall order, especially with growing diversity in consumer preferences and emerging evidence of a downturn in sales.
For me, the car business has always been a great teacher and while there are similarities to other industries, it’s laden with unequalled challenges. Transcending a historically adverse reputation is tricky and with today’s social megaphone, it can seem impossible.
I wish to create a path for deconstructing and restructuring dealership operations to meet the needs of today’s consumer-driven environment.
I also wish to create a clear pathway forward for new leaders who may be digitally savvy but don’t possess the foundational operations skills needed to grow their business.
Here’s the thing…
Below here I’ve included the customary bio I use to introduce myself when I speak or do workshops. But I think it’s important for you to hear my friend-to-friend version.
This is from me to you:
I got into the car business in 1980. From that point on, I’ve been intuitive when it comes to dealership profitability. Whether it’s financial, operational, leadership, organizational, or customer experience, I always zero in on what’s happening (or not happening) that’s causing the drain to the bottom line.
I see the pathway to profit and I simply want to share my gift with you to make your organization more profitable.
